Job Position:
Web Developer with excellent DHTML skills
Salary Type:
Contract
Responsibilities:
* Work directly with the company’s founding team and the Creative Lead in developing the interface for the new product
* Design, implement, test, and maintain new front-end functionality for all users of our software
Required Skills:
* Expertise in DHTML — includes HTML, JavaScript (AJAX), CSS
* Strong understanding of browser layout, cross-browser development practices, and browser degradation strategies
* At least 2 years of active programming experience in the following: JSP, Object Oriented JavaScript, XML, AJAX
* Is expected to be the resident DHTML/JavaScript/CSS expert!
Highly Desired Skills:
* Experience working with libraries such as JQuery, Scriptaculous, Prototype, Google’s development kit, YUI
Other Nice to have Skills:
* Experience integrating external 3rd-party web applications, services and components
* Experience working with LAMP stack is a bonus but not required
* Understanding of SQL
